Well it's not moonshine exactly, but it's going to do it's job oh too well! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! This recipe is sweet and tasty without an alcohol taste, which we are big fans of, seeing as both of us only drink on rare occasions. That being said, PLEASE don't drink if you aren't of legal drinking age, and definitely DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE. We're really serious here! Now continue on...

What You'll Need:

1 750ml (fifth) of Everclear (or the highest proof vodka legally allowable)

2 Cups Whipped Vodka (Ice Cream flavor works too)

1 Cup Spiced Run (We used Captains because of this one time Mysha had in college)

1 Gallon Apple Cider

2 Quarts Apple Juice

4 cups brown sugar

12-14 cinnamon sticks

12 (14) pint mason jars (or any airtight container in which you wish to store your moonshine)

Two Large Pots

Start by evenly dividing the cider between the two pots, half gallon in each, followed by the apple juice and cinnamon sticks.

Next, bring the pots to a LOW simmer (lower temps reduce the cooling time) before adding two cups of brown sugar to each pot. Stir slowly until the sugar dissolves (about 5 minutes).

Now, the liquid needs to come to room temprature before adding any alcohol (you don't want to lose that alchol content). We put our pots in the refridgerator to speed this process...and once it has cooled, evenly divide the Everclear between the cooled pots, then add 1 cup whipped vodka to each pot, followed by 1/2 cup spiced rum to each pot.

Stir well and you're ready to can it! Pour (or use a funnel or small scoop) the liquid from the pot into each mason jar and place a cinnamon stick in each jar before placing the lid.

And there you have it, quite possibly some of the tastiest "moonshine" ever! Leave us comments of how your party turned out after introducing your moonshine! If you're interested in the labels on our jars please leave us a comment with the birthday you are celebrating and we will gladly provide the printables for free!
